ABOUT INDIA

THE SANSKRIT LANGUAGE

“Panini” who is believed to be the 5th or 6th century BCE old was an ancient Sanskrit grammarian as is being called the father of Sanskrit language. Coming from Indo- European, Indo-Iranian, Indo-Aryan language it is one of the oldest languages with 5000 years old history and is found in the scriptures of Jainism, Buddhism, and Jainism. 

Mostly written in Devanagari, it is also written in Brahmic script. The language has exceedingly influenced the vocabulary and grammar of many other languages like Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu. Regardless of its age-old history, it is spoken merely by 1% Indians and majorly by priests during religious ceremonies.
