ORIGEN OF PERSIAN LANGUAGE

Parsi or Persian was the language of the Parsa people that ruled Iran between 550 - 330 BCE. It belongs to what scholars call the Indo-Iranian group of languages. It became the language of the Persia and was widely spoken within the ancient days starting from the borders of India in the east, Russian in the north, the southern shores of the Persian Gulf to Egypt and therefore the Mediterranean in the west.

Persian is the language of more than 110 million people around the world. Persian, also known as Farsi, is the official language of Iran. It is also one of the two major languages spoken in Afghanistan and the main language in Tajikistan. The characters (alphabets) of Persian are very different from the languages of the Indian and European origin. The Persian language uses alphabets from Arabic and is written from right to left.

PERSIAN LANGUAGE SOUND SYSTEM

The sound system of Standard Persian has 29 phonemes, i.e., sounds that make a difference in word meaning.

CULTURE

Studying Persian provides an entry into a rich and diverse culture. Major epic and Sufi poets—such as Ferdowsi, Rumi, and Hafez—have served as an inspiration to writers and creators across the globe for centuries, and contemporary Persian-language literature continues to find international audiences.

Langma School of Languages follows the different levels ranging from A1 for beginner to C2 at the highest. The learners of Persian language varies from students, businessmen, employees who plan to shift their residence to the above-mentioned countries.

We provide both native and Indian trainers, as our language faculty. Also included in our course are plays, audio-visuals and workshops which can further enhance the accuracy and usage of the language.
