Langma School of Language is the only TORFL test centre in Delhi, authorized by Herzen State Pedagogical University. The testing centre of the Herzen State Pedagogical University is a modern centre founded on the basis of the oldest Pedagogical University of Russia.
At the beginning of 2018, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation authorized Herzen University to conduct the State Test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL).
TORFL is a test of Russian language for the foreign citizens and offers an opportunity to evaluate the proficiency of a learner on various parameters including grammar, lexicon, ability to read and write and the communicative skills. TORFL test is highly recommended for students who are looking forward to studying in Russian universities. This test is also helpful for people who are seeking jobs or are planning to run a business in collaboration with Russia partners. The proficiency in Russian is going to establish contacts with Russian and Russian-speaking partners for successful study or business in Russian.
The State Test of Russian as a foreign language (TORFL) is a respected way to prove the reference level of Russian. The TORFL system has accreditation of the Association of Language Teters in Europe (ALTE). Therefore, the results of the tests are accepted in all foreign countries.
The TORFL system is built in compliance with the best international quality standards of language testing. It is matched to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The TORFL system consists of six levels.

The TORFL certificate (TBL/A2 or higher) is a requirement for being admitted to Russian citizenship.

TORFL-III/ C1 gives foreign citizens an opportunity to carry out professional activities using the Russian language in such subject areas as Philology, Linguistics, and Journalism both in Russia and abroad. This certificate is also required to build o career in diplomacy.
